Answer:

The shedding of the endometrium occurs during menstruation resulting from a decrease in progesterone and estrogen.

Explanation:

The endometrium is la innermost tissue of the uterus, and its function is to keep the myometrium separated. During the menstrual cycle, it becomes a tissue rich in blood vessels with a bigger thickness than its usual. Preparing itself to receive an egg to be funded and develop a fetus. However, if the egg is not fecundated it sheds and releases all the blood, proteins, and substances it gathered to receive a fecundated egg for its development. This process requires hormones, proteins, and other blood cells to repair the damage inside the uterus. Including progesterone and estrogen.

How does the phenomena of survive of the fittest relates to peppered moth simulation?
IgorC [24]
Peppered moth stimulation is an experimental setup that show the behavior of moth in relation to their environment. The objective of the setup is to stimulate changes in moth population as a result of pollution and predation.
Peppered moth stimulation relates to the survival of the fittest because the moth with the most adaptive ability will be able to survive despite the negative forces in the environment. The bright colored moth was able to survive the pollution in the environment and retains its colour while the black coloured moth change its colour to black due to the pollution int the environment.
