Standard Error is the standard deviation of sampling distribution. It is a statistic estimate of population parameter standard deviation.

It is a measure of dispersion of sample means around population means. It indicates that how accurate the mean of any given sample from the population, is likely to be compared to true population mean.

So: If standard error is small , the real data is clustered close to the estimated regression line. And - If standard error is large , the real data is spread far from the estimated regression line.
