So, I'm completely lost on this. It's very easy to figure out as it's just writing a function, but I'm not entirely sure about t

he correct way to do so. I'd just like a standard f(w)= l*w type formula, if that's okay.

Raj is making a rectangular garden for his dog Cinnamon to play in. The length, l, of the garden is 2 yards greater than its width, w, in yards. Enter the function, f(w), which describes the area, in square yards, of Raj’s garden as a function of the width, w.

Width = w
length = w+2

f(w) =w(w+2) = w^2 + 2w.

Please, let me know whether the procedure is clear for you.

The answer is f(w)=w^2 + 2w.

Yolanda has 2 granola bars. Each serving is of a bar of granola.
RSB [31]

The model of the granola bars is an illustration of <em>ratios and proportions</em>.

The model that shows the total serving is model A

The given parameters are:

\mathbf{Bars = 2}

\mathbf{Serving = \frac{2}{5}}

So, the number of servings in both bars is:

\mathbf{Total = Bars \div Serving}

Substitute 2 for Bars and 2/5 for Servings

\mathbf{Total = 2 \div \frac{2}{5}}

Express as multiplication

\mathbf{Total = 2 \times \frac{5}{2}}

\mathbf{Total = \frac{10}{2}}

\mathbf{Total = 5}

The total number of servings is 5

The model that shows a total serving of 5 is model A (see attachment)

Identify the center and radius of the circle. Then write the equation of the circle.
Anna71 [15]

Answer:

Radius = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

x² + y² - 10x + 8y + 37 = 0

Regroup terms

(x² - 10x) + (y² + 8y) = -37

Complete the square

(x² - 10x + 5²) + (y² + 8y + 4²) = -37 + 5² + 4²

(x² - 5)² + (y² + 4)² = 2²

Center (5,-4)
