The particles of a gas move quickly and are able to spread apart from one another.

Explanation:

The particles in the gas are departed from each other at greater distance. The arrangement of the particles present in gas are not regular. Hence, the vibration and the movement of the particles in gas occurs fast. The particles are able to move freely at higher speed. They will follow a continuous and a straight line motion.

The particles present in gas can move freely and can spread easily away from each other because of the fact that the kinetic energy of these particles will be higher than the attractive force that exist between the gas particles. Thus, the particles present in gas can move freely in all directions and collides with each other and also with the containers wall.

In mountain areas, when large amounts of rock fragments move downslope of their own weight, they are called ________.
LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer:

Avalanche

Explanation:

They mostly happen in mountainous regions where there is snow/ice and rocks. The ice underneath the boulders thaws momentarily due to the pressure of the rocks and ice above hence acting as a lubricant for the sliding down of the rocks down the mountain. Avalanches can be triggered by earthquakes, explosions, and etcetera.

Marina is drawing a plan for a new garden. The rectangle plotted in the coordinate plane represents the garden, measured in feet
Anastaziya [24]

Answer:

The amount of soil Marina will need to cover the garden is:

24 ft2

Explanation:

The reason behind this is that the formula to obtain the area of a rectangle is L multiplied by W where L is the length and W width. Knowing this we can substitute the letters by the size of each representation, meaning L=6 W=4 we multiply them and we obtain 24 ft2. Because when the feet are multiplied they become square feet. Also, because it doesn't matter the spaces used in the direction of the cartesian plane the numbers in means or width and length are positive to obtain the measurement of the area.
