Biology

The particles of a gas move quickly and are able to spread apart from one another.

Explanation:

The particles in the gas are departed from each other at greater distance. The arrangement of the particles present in gas are not regular. Hence, the vibration and the movement of the particles in gas occurs fast. The particles are able to move freely at higher speed. They will follow a continuous and a straight line motion.

The particles present in gas can move freely and can spread easily away from each other because of the fact that the kinetic energy of these particles will be higher than the attractive force that exist between the gas particles. Thus, the particles present in gas can move freely in all directions and collides with each other and also with the containers wall.
