In order to find the Area of a rectangle you need to just multiply the length by the width. Don't be confused due to the squared symbol.

For the original garden the area was 130m^2

For the new rectangle we will need to work backwards, so therefore, when the rectangles area is 208m^2, sides will have to be both 8 and 26

Simplify (4x-8)/(-3x)*(12)/(12-6x)
zloy xaker [14]

\dfrac{4x-8}{-3x}\cdot\dfrac{12}{12-6x}=\dfrac{4(x-2)}{-x}\cdot\dfrac{4}{-6(x-2)}=\dfrac{4}{-x}\cdot\dfrac{4}{-6}\\\\=\dfrac{2}{-x}\cdot\dfrac{4}{-3}=\dfrac{(2)(4)}{(-x)(-3)}=\dfrac{8}{3x}

Selling price=rs.600.

Profit of rs=100.

Step-by-step explanation:

C.P=500; profit%=20%

S.P.=100+profit%×C.P/100
