Answer: The molarity of solution is 0.453 M

Explanation:

Molarity of a solution is defined as the number of moles of solute dissolved per liter of the solution.

Molarity=\frac{n\times 1000}{V_s}

where,

n = moles of solute

V_s = volume of solution in ml

moles of C_2H_5OH = \frac{\text {given mass}}{\text {Molar mass}}=\frac{1.77g}{46g/mol}=0.0385mol

Now put all the given values in the formula of molality, we get

Molarity=\frac{0.0385\times 1000}{85.0}

Molarity=0.453

Therefore, the molarity of solution is 0.453 M

Answer:

Single displacement and reduction

Explanation:

In a single-displacement reaction, one element exchanges partners with another.

\rm Ca + 2H$_2$O $\longrightarrow$ Ca(OH)$_2$ + H$_2$

This is a single-displacement reaction, because the element Ca exchanges partners with H.

This is also a reduction/oxidation (redox) reaction, because the optically active of Ca increases from 0 to +2 (oxidation), while the oxidation number of H decreases from +1 to 0 (reduction),

The most common types of reactions are:

  • Combination
  • Decomposition
  • Single displacement
  • Double displacement
  • Reduction/oxidation

Question: Multicellular organisms have five levels of organization ranging from simplest to most complex. The simplest level is
lapo4ka [179]
From Simplest to Most Complex, it follows this order.

Cells
Tissue
Organs
Organ Systems
Organisms

Given a sentence and an exmaple about them:

Cells: They are the fundamentals in all living things. They have a nucleus, cytoplasm, and organelles which is all surrounded by a cell membrane. Example: Skin Cells, Blood Cells.

Tissue: It is close to Cells, it consists of the material that animals and plants are made, but it also consists specialized cells and their product. Example: Muscle Tissue, Epithelial Tissue.

Organs: Pretty much a part of the body that specializes in a specific function. Example: Liver, Stomach.

Organ System: This is kind of like Organs, however they are a system of organs that rely on each other, whether it is directly or indirectly. Examples: Muscular System, Circulatory System.

Organelles: These are the parts that makes up what a cell is. Exmaple: Golgi Body, Lysosomes.

The base-dissociation constant, kb, for pyridine, c5h5n, is 1.4x10-9 the acid-dissociation constant, ka, for the pyridinium ion,
sp2606 [1]
We are given the base dissociation constant, Kb, for Pyridine (C5H5N) which is 1.4x10^-9. The acid dissociation constant, Ka for the Pyridium ion or the conjugate acid of Pyridine is to be determined. We know from our chemistry classes that:

Kw = Kb * Ka

where Kw is always equal to 1x10^-14

so, to solve for Ka of Pyridium ion, substitute Kb to the equation together with Kw and solve for Ka:

1x10^-14 = 1.4x10^-9 * Ka
solve for Ka

Ka = 7.14x10^-6

Therefore, the acid dissociation constant of Pyridinium ion is 7.14x10^-6.
