<span>Cuba mainly relies on sugar as its main export and it is also one of the world’s leading producers of sugarcane. However, many other Latin American countries like Brazil also produce sugarcane and compete in the global market. If by any chance a natural disaster would come, it could cause disruption in the economy of Cuba. A drop in sugar prices or in its production would have startling effects. Moreover, more and more people are becoming health conscious so sugar consumption is expected to drop in the coming years.

fredd [130]

The story of heather sellers who suffered from a rare neurological condition called prosopagnosia, which affects her ability to recognize faces, would help explain to us the importance of studying perception and sensation. A sensation is a process of using the senses in sensing the environment while perception is the process of interpreting these senses and since these can be impaired, studying and understanding them is vital in order to know its treatment.
