Angleslice/360 times area=area of slice

area=pir^2
normally pizzas are given in terms of ther diameter
so 10=diameter
d/2=r, 10/2=5
r=5
area=pi5^2=25pi

angleslize/360 times 25pi=15
do math
times 360 both sides and divide by 25pi both sides
angle=68.7549 degrees or 1.2 radians

Find the length of side a in simplest radical form with a rational denominator.
Goshia [24]

Answer:

x = 5.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Using a trig ratio, you can use sin, which is opposite over hypotenuse. sin(30)\textdegree=\frac{x}{11}

Now, multiply both sides by 11

11\cdot sin(30)\textdegree=x

this simplifies to x = \frac{11}{2} or 5.5.

Since sin30 is \frac{\pi}{6} radians, it can be written as \frac{11\pi}{6}.

In triangle IJK, J = 800cm, k = 240 cm and angle I=173 degrees. Find the area of triangle IJK, to the nearest square centimeter.
wariber [46]

Answer:

11,700cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of the triangle = 1/2*JK sin<I

Given

J = 800cm

K = 240cm

<I = 173 degrees

Substitute

Area of the triangle = 1/2 * 800 * 240 sin 173

Area of the triangle = 400 * 240sin 173

Area of the triangle = 400 * 29.25

Area of the triangle = 11,699.5

Area of the triangle to the nearest square centimeter is 11,700cm²
