A. Its a square. This means each side times the side would give us the area (s^2)
4/3^2 or 1.3333 x 1.33333 = 16 / 9 area.

B. Really just pick any numbers you want.
16 yards long and 1/9 wide.
As long as they multiply to 16/9

Answer:

A). Area of mural = 1\frac{5}{9}\:yards^2

B). length = \frac{8}{9}\:yard

    width = 2 yards

Step-by-step explanation:

A).

Length of Side of Square shaped mural = 1\frac{1}{3}=\frac{4}{3}\:yards

Area of mural = side × side = \frac{4}{3}\times\frac{4}{3}

                       = \frac{16}{9}=1\frac{5}{9}\:yards^2

B).

Area of rectangular mural = \frac{16}{9}\:yards^2

Area of rectangle is given as = length × width

Means length and width can be any no whose product equals to \frac{16}{9}

one pair of such a number is as follows,

length = \frac{8}{9}\:yard

width = 2 yards

Paul [167]

Answer:

1 piece will cost 2 cents

Step-by-step explanation:

If you divide 7.91 by 0.17, you will get 0.021492, and if you round that up you will get 0.02 which is 2 cents. Now if you want to find the price of more pieces, you can just multiply 2 by however the person needs to buy, and write that as money :)))
