0= $- \frac{8}{3}$x + 9 subtract 9 from both sides
-9 = $-\frac{8}{3} x$ divide both sides by 3
-3 = -8x  divide both sides by -8
$\frac{3}{8}$ = x

X-intercept = ($\frac{3}{8}$, 0)
