I think you mean circumference...Area is A= \pi r^{2}. We have the area so we need to use it to solve for the radius which we will then use in the circumference formula. 16 \pi = \pi r^{2}. Divide both sides by pi to get \frac{16 \pi }{ \pi } = r^{2}. Of course the simplification of the left side gives us 16= r^{2} and r = 4. Now fill that in to the circumference formula, which is C=2 \pi r, to get CC=2 \pi (4) which is a circumference of 8 \pi

Graph the data below and then answer the questions that follow. year 1=$20,000, year 2=$21,750, year 3=$23,500, year 4=$25,250,
Mariana [72]

Answer:

Since the difference between the value for each year is constant, this is an arithmetic sequence.

Step-by-step explanation:

Year 2 - Year 1 = 21,750 - 20,000 = 1,750

Year 3 - Year 2 = 23,500 - 21,750 = 1,750

Year 4 - Year 3 = Year 5 - Year 4 = 1,750

Two forest service watchtowers spot a fire in the distance. The fire is 27 miles from Tower 2. About how far apart are the two w
Reptile [31]
Given that the two watchtowers spotted fire in the distance and watch tower 2 was 27 miles from the fire. Assuming that the fire is in the middle of both watch towers, then the distance between the two watch towers will be given by:
distance=[distance of fire from watch tower 1]+[distance of fire from watch tower 2]
=27+27
=53 miles

If you roll a fair six-sided die and a fair four-sided die, what is the probability that the dice add to 7?
sveticcg [70]

1/6.

For any given roll on a four-sided die, there is exactly one roll on a six-sided die (1/6 chance) which will sum to 7.

Since it doesn’t matter what you roll on the four-sided die, the chance is always 1/6 with a fair six-sided die.

One interesting result of this is that only the 6-sided die has the be fair for this result to hold. The 4-sided die can be very biased in any direction and the final result will still be 1/6.

On a coordinates plane, a line passes through ( - 2 , 3 ) and ( 2 , 6 ). Which of the followings lies on the same line.
Dahasolnce [82]

By direct comparison and definition of line segment we notice that the point (x, y) = (- 6, 0) lies on the line segment AB as each AP is a multiple of former. (Correct choice: C)

What point lies on a line segment?

According to linear algebra, a point lies in a line segment if its vector is a multiple of the vector that generates the line segment itself, that is:

AB = k · AP        (1)

The vector that generates the line segment is:

AB = (2, 6) - (- 2, 3)

AB = (4, 3)

And the vectors related to each point are:

Case A

AP = (- 2, 12) - (- 2, 3)

AP = (0, 9)

Case B

AP = (6, 12) - (- 2, 3)

AP = (8, 9)

Case C

AP = (- 6, 0) - (- 2, 3)

AP = (- 4, - 3)

Case D

AP = (- 6, 6) - (- 2, 3)

AP = (- 4, 3)

By direct comparison and definition of line segment we notice that the point (x, y) = (- 6, 0) lies on the line segment AB as each AP is a multiple of former. (Correct choice: C)
