I think you mean circumference...Area is A= \pi r^{2}. We have the area so we need to use it to solve for the radius which we will then use in the circumference formula.  16 \pi = \pi r^{2}.  Divide both sides by pi to get \frac{16 \pi }{ \pi } = r^{2}.  Of course the simplification of the left side gives us 16= r^{2} and r = 4.  Now fill that in to the circumference formula, which is C=2 \pi r, to get CC=2 \pi (4) which is a circumference of 8 \pi

the volume of a rectangular pyramid with a length of 7 feet, a width of 6 feet, and a height of 4.5 feet.
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

Volume = 63 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the volume of a cube or a rectangular prism, the formula is

(L x W x H)/3. In other words, it is the length of the prism, times the width of the prism, times the height of the prism, whole divided by three, since it has a "triangular shape."

Let's substitute in values for these letters, L, W, and H. You said the length was 7, the width was 6, and the height was 4.5. Therefore, it will result in

(7 x 6 x 4.5)/3. That results in 189/3, which is 63.

Hope this helped!!!

What's the answer to this question. please with explanation
riadik2000 [5.3K]
Circumference = 2 * pi * radius.

The rotating sprinkler is the center and is creating the circle as said in the description. That 9 feet stream of water is then your radius. Plug in this radius to go the formula.

2 * pi * 9 = 18pi ≈ 56.549

I guess the closest one is option C.
