Embargo is when a nation refuses to trade with a another country.

For example: There was a time United States and Cuba were in a bad relationship to the fact that Cuba is a communist country and it was supported by Russia. So, USA did something called 'Embargo" for 50 years towards Cuba. So, for 50 years Cuba and USA didn't trade anything.
