Lateral hypothalamus is to Hunger as the ventromedial hypothalamus is to eating. In animal when the lateral hypothalamus is destroyed it result to loss of hunger and when ventromedial hypothalamus is destroyed result to overeating.lateral hypothalamus control hunger while Ventromedial hypothalamus is involved in feeding,fear and sex activities
