a^n=\underbrace{a\cdot a\cdot a\cdot...\cdot a}_{n}\\\\\left(\dfrac{a}{b}\right)^n=\dfrac{a^n}{b^n}\\----------------\\\\\left(\dfrac{5}{3}\right)^3=\dfrac{5}{3}\cdot\dfrac{5}{3}\cdot\dfrac{5}{3}=\dfrac{5^3}{3^3}=\dfrac{125}{27}

The number of different groups can be found by finding 9C3 (Using combinations)
We will find combinations from n = 9 to r = 3

Therefore, 9C3 = 9!/6!*3! = (9*8*7*6!)/(6!*3*2)
= 3*4*7
= 84 ways.

Find the volume of the cylinder. Round your answer to the nearest tenth.
GrogVix [38]

We know diameter d=8 and height h=16.

First find the radius of the bottom of the cylinder,

r=\dfrac{d}{2}=\dfrac{8}{2}=4.

Then find the area of the bottom of cylinder,

A=\pi r^2=16\pi.

Then to find volume just multiply the height with the area of the bottom of the cylinder,

V=Ah=16\cdot16\pi=16^2\pi\approx804.247\mathrm{cm^3}.

Hope this helps.
