To DECREASE the % ionization of HNO2, which salt would you add to the solution A) NaCl B) KNO3 C) KNO3 D) NH4Cl E) NaOH

Chemistry
1 answer:

3 0

Explanation:

HNO₂ ionizes in the following way -

HNO₂ + H₂O ----> H₃O⁺ + NO₂⁻

Hence , if we add ions of NO₂⁻ , it will increase the concentration of these ions towards the right side , and the reaction will proceeds in the backward direction , because of the Le - Chateliers principle ,

Hence from the options given in the question ,  none will be able to bring the reaction , back , i.e. reduce the ionization .

But in case we use KNO₂ , then , it is capable to reduce the ionization of HNO₂ .

According to solubility rules, which of the following compounds is insoluble in water?
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

The correct answer is - Al(OH)3

Explanation:

At the point when a substance is blended in with a soluble, there are a few potential outcomes. The deciding variable for the outcome is the solubility of the substance, which is characterized as the maximum concentration of the solute. These rules help figure out which substances are solvent, and how much.

According to the 11 rules of solubility rules, the insoluble compound in water is - Al(OH)3
