Correct answer: Meristem

A meristematic tissue is a type of tissue that contains the unspecialized stem cells, which divide to give cells that increase the height of the plant, girth of the stem, and roots of the plant. They also give cells that form flowers and leaves.

To perform all these functions, a meristematic tissue produces daughter cells that are known to differentiate into organ, whole plant or the whole genome of the plant.

Example: Apical meristem, lateral meristem etc

What evidence from the study supports the hypothesis that dogs might use a magnetic sense to navigate?
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Answer:

Yes.

Explanation:

Yes, a new research indicates that dogs might use a magnetic sense to navigate. Dogs has world class nose which helps them to navigate to their destination but it also has a magnetic compass that helps them in navigation. The dogs use magnetic field of the earth to find out shortcut ways in the unknown land or terrain so the hypothesis is right that dogs used magnetic sense for navigation.

Which of the following sets of materials is required by both eukaryotes and prokaryotes for replication? Group of answer choices
erastova [34]

Answer:

Double-stranded DNA.

Explanation:

Replication may be defined as the process of formation of the daughter DNA from the parent DNA with the help of enzymes and proteins. The three main process of replication are inititation , elongation and termination.

The double stranded DNA molecule undergoes the process of replication. Four different dNTPs - adenine, guanine, thymine and cytosine are required for the process of replication.  Primers are required for initiation of the process of replication and ori region is the inititaion point of replication.

Thus, the correct answer is option (a).
