\frac{3}{x+2} -  \frac{1}{x} = \frac{1}{5x}

\frac{(3*x)-(1*(x+2))}{(x+2)*x} = \frac{1}{5x} 



(3x - x - 2 )5 =  \frac{x(x+2)}{x}

(2x-2)5 = x+2

10x - 10 = x + 2

10x - x = 2 + 10

9x = 12

x =  \frac{12}{9}  =  \frac{4}{3}  = 1.3333333333333 ≈ 1.3

5x = 26 - 14

5x = 12

Divide 5 on both sides

x = 12/5

x = 2.4
