There are 2 walls that are 9 feet each and then 2 walls that are 6 feet each. Adding those up will give you 30 feet of fencing. If you need 1 gallon for every 10 feet and there are 30 feet of fencing, that would mean that you need 3 gallons of paint.

Answer:

x = 12

Step-by-step explanation:

Equation:    0.52(x) + 0.72(4) = 0.57(x + 4)

0.52(x) + 0.72(4) = 0.57(x + 4)             \longmapsto         Multiply

0.52x + 2.88 = 0.57x + 2.28               \longmapsto         Subtract 0.52x from both sides

2.88 = 0.05x + 2.28                            \longmapsto         Subtract 2.28 from both sides

0.6 = 0.05x                                          \longmapsto        Divide all sides by 0.05

x = 12

Describe and explain the difference between perpendicular and parallel lines
zloy xaker [14]
Perpendicular lines are a pair of lines that, when they intersect (cross over each other) they create 90 degree angles (also known as right angles, or a "perfect corner").
Keep this in mind for the next one: In math on graphs, lines go on forever.
So anyways, parallel lines are 2 lines that run DIRECTLY next to each other, so they never intersect.
