Answer:

Amino acids are organic compounds: meaning they contain carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen. They are the building blocks, or monomers of proteins. They are made of a carboxyl group and an amino group. There is also a side chain, that is different for each of the 20 amino acids.

Hope this helps! :)

Question 5 unsaved adding a unit to move a susceptible group enough to prevent metabolism is known as
mrs_skeptik [129]
adding a unit to move a susceptible group enough to prevent metabolism is known as shifting.
These phenomena happen especially for liposoluble organism circulating in blood like drugs an hormones.
these molecules circulating blood can be divided into two forms :
The free-form: which is the active part, it circulates freely in the blood, but are easily metabolised.
The bound form: it can be bound to other molecules from the organisms depending on its affinity like proteins (albumin, glycoproteins). this form is not active but is prevented from metabolism.

Competition for bounding proteins can happen between two drugs for example. If they have a different degree of affinity for proteins, then the most affine will displace the less affine from the protein and bound it, and that is call shifting

while gazing into an aquarium, you see bubbles from an aquatic plant. What is the name of this effect?
liraira [26]

Hydrophonic plants are plants that is living in the lands, and obviously the aquatic plants that are typically used to style aquariums. However, the bubbles you can perceive in an aquatic plant can perhaps be a source of oxygen which is recognized as one of the products of plants as well as human respiration. The bubbles are oxygen and are created from the thylakoid membrane in the chloroplast over photosynthesis.

1. Which of the following would be expected to be true of parallel universes? Choose all that apply. *
Svetradugi [14.3K]

The property which would be expected to be true of a parallel universe would be that: They would have the same laws of physics.

Discussion:

A parallel universe by definition is; a separate universe or world that coexists with our known universe but is very different from it. a realm of existence and experience that is fundamentally different from the one that most humans share; a separate reality ultimately.

PS: Plato reflected deeply on the parallel realities, resulting in Platonism, in which the upper reality is perfect while the lower earthly reality is an imperfect shadow of the heavenly.
