Answer:

Use an ruler if you must listen to explanation.

Step-by-step explanation:

So this is actually very easy so it already tells you the Width= Feet is 80. But the Length = Feet is 6 greater any time you see something that says Number? Greater it means Multiply so multiply 6x80=480 so your length will be 480 Ok that's true But! The Width isn't answered your paper/screen Says, The perimeter of a rectangular outdoor patio is 80 ft. The length is 6 feet greater than the width what are the dimersions of the patio. Dimersion's what is it? The number.

So your confused?

Here are a list of things you can use,

A ruler

A protractor

Or A Tape Measuerer

Pardon if spelled wrong.

Anyway the perimeter is 80 ft.  Here's what i would do i would use a ruler and see how long the width is then times that with 6 and you should get your answer i cannot use my ruler because picture is to small even when clicked this should help you.

Hope this helped!

What is the vertex? y=2x^2+28x-8
ra1l [238]
Fist convert the equation to vertex form

y = 2(x^2 + 14x) - 8
 y = 2 [(x + 7)^2 - 49] - 8
y = 2(x + 7)^2 - 106

So the vertex is at (-7,-106)

Write the next three terms of the arithmetic sequence.
JulijaS [17]

The next three terms are: 1/6 , 0 and -1/6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given sequence is:

\frac{5}{6} , \frac{2}{3} ,\frac{1}{2}, \frac{1}{3} ...

First of all, we have to find the common difference

here\\a_1 = \frac{5}{6}\\a_2 = \frac{2}{3}\\a_3 = \frac{1}{2}\\a_4 = \frac{1}{3}\\d = a_2-a_1 = \frac{2}{3} -\frac{5}{6} = \frac{4-5}{6} = -\frac{1}{6}\\d = a_3 - a_2 = \frac{1}{2} - \frac{2}{3} = \frac{3-4}{6} = =\frac{1}{6}

The common difference is -1/6

We can simply add -1/6 to the previous term to find the next terms so,

Adding -1/6 to 1/3

\frac{1}{3} - \frac{1}{6} = \frac{2-1}{6} = \frac{1}{6}\\\frac{1}{6} - \frac{1}{6} = 0\\0-\frac{1}{6} = -\frac{1}{6}

Hence,

The next three terms are: 1/6 , 0 and -1/6
