Answer:

A) 3x^2(x^8-16)

B)  3x^2(x^4+4)(x^2+2)(x^2-2)

Step-by-step explanation:

<u><em>Part A:</em></u>

=> 3x^{10} - 48x^2

The greatest common factor is 3x^2, So we'll take  3x^2 as common

=> 3x^2(x^8-16)

<u><em>Part B:</em></u>

=> 3x^2(x^8-16)

=> 3x^2[(x^4)^2-(4)^2]

Using Formula a^2-b^2 = (a+b)(a-b)

=> 3x^2 (x^4+4)(x^4-4)

=> 3x^2(x^4+4)[(x^2]^2-(2)^2]

Again Using the same formula

=> 3x^2(x^4+4)(x^2+2)(x^2-2)

Solving Rational Equations. LCD Method. Show work.<br><br><img src="https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=%5Cfrac%7B2%7D%7B5x%7D%20%2B%5Cfrac%
Svet_ta [14]

using the LCD method.... well, there are a couple of ways, but let's simply add them up.

well, the denominators are 5x and 2x... so the only LCD will just be 10x, since it's divisible by both, so let's use that one.

\bf \cfrac{2}{5x}+\cfrac{7}{2x}=1\implies \stackrel{\textit{LCD of 10x}}{\cfrac{(2)2~~+~~(5)7}{10x}}=1\implies \cfrac{4+35}{10x}=1\implies \cfrac{39}{10x}=1 \\\\\\ 39=10x\implies \cfrac{39}{10}=x\implies 3\frac{9}{10}=x

kiruha [24]

Answer:

The annual interest rate is 6.25%

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given that

P = $50,000

I = $9,375

t = 3 years

r = ?

The formula for simple interest is given by

I=Prt\\\\\text{Substituting the known values, we get}\\\\9375=50000(r)\cdot3\\\\r=\frac{9375}{50000\cdot3}\\\\r=0.0625\\\\r=6.25\%

Therefore, the annual interest rate is 6.25%
