The formula for Cortisone is C₂₁H₂₈O₅.

The molar mass (mass of one molecule) would be the sum of the atomic mass of all the elements that make up Cortisone

∴ mass of one molecule of Cortisone = [(12.01 × 21) + (1.00 × 28) + (15.999 × 5)]g/mol
                                                            = (252.21 + 28 + 79.995)

                                                            ≈ 360 g/mol
That value is due to rounding off. The known accurate value is 360.45 g/mol

a culinary student fills a 40ml container with 37.2 grams of vegetable oil.What is the density of the oil
Lynna [10]

Answer:

0.93 g/mL

Explanation:

The density of a substance can be found by using the formula

density =  \frac{mass}{volume} \\

From the question

mass = 37.2 g

volume = 40 mL

We have

density =  \frac{37.2}{40}  \\  = 0.93

We have the final answer as

0.93 g/mL

Hope this helps you

In the graph above for the dissociation of a strong acid, why do the bars for H3O+ and A- have the same height as the bar for HA
dimaraw [331]

Answer:

The concentration of HA is the same as concentration of H3O+ and A- produced.

Explanation:

The dissociation equation is given below:

HA(aq) + H2O (l) —> H3O+(aq) + A-(aq)

From the reaction above, we can see that the acid is monoprotic acid i.e it has only 1 ionisable hydrogen atom.

Now, from the balanced equation, we can see that the acid produced equal concentration of H3O+ and A-.

This account for the reason why the bars for H3O+ and A- have the same height as the bar for HA.
