Concern for the poor is often equated with expanding government. In reality, government policies often make it difficult for those striving to make ends meet.
Many of the policies drive up consumer prices, such as for food and energy, which disproportionately hurt the poor, or create artificial obstacles to jobs.
All levels of government—local, state, and federal—need to look honestly at how they contribute to the poverty problem.

The 3 G’s were gold, glory, and god. The Spaniards, and other colonial powers, wanted more money, and the America’s were ripe with the opportunity to do so. In addition, a lot of fame and renown came from having successful colonies overseas, which meant more people would go, and therefore, more money would be made. Finally, the Spaniards wanted to spread to word of God to the natives, and created hundreds of missions to do so.
Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.
So basically there shall be no slavery within the US, and if there is it will be prosecuted.
In my opinion, it will enforce other nations to cooperate with our boundaries and accept differences.
