Answer:

Of the 600 elephants that he observes in random places in the reserve, he counts \frac{8}{30}(600)=160 elephants with broken tusks.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x denotes number of elephants having broken tusks out of 600 elephants.

Of the 30 elephants that he observes in random places in the reserve, he counts 8 elephants with broken tusks.

So,

Of the 1 elephants that he observes in random places in the reserve, he counts \frac{8}{30} elephants with broken tusks.

Therefore,

Of the 600 elephants that he observes in random places in the reserve, he counts \frac{8}{30}(600)=160 elephants with broken tusks.

ANEK [815]
Hello there.

   Linear regression is a useful tool that allows calculating approximate values for a function that passes through given points(with the best error possible). It is very useful in science to make an estimation of the comportment of movement, electricity and some decays.

   For example, I will relate a case in a physics lab: We calculated the positions of a car in an air rail and the times. With this information, I was able to make a linear regression to calculate the Position function for that case.

2x+60=180

2×=180-60

×=120/2

×=60

(6x+3)=(7x-12)(corresponding angle )

3+12=7×-6×

x=15

4x-2=3x-19(vertically opposite angle)

4x-3×=-19+2

x=-17

Help please don’t understand.
sergij07 [2.7K]
Okay so first, area is length times width, so 1/4x*x would be first = 1/4(x^2)=64. Then area or x = 16 or -16

perimeter would be width times two plus length times two. I recommend using math papa to calculate these numbers.
