Answer:

a.) A dietary supplement of cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3)

Explanation:

Vitamin D is an important vitamin that helps in the absorption of calcium, which is one of the fundamental blocks of bones. Vitamin D, naturally can be synthesized in the body when stimulated by Ultraviolet radiation from the sun, upon exposing the skin to sunlight.

As a result of shorter days and long, darker nights during winter, people living in cold climates hardly get enough exposure to sunlight, and as such, the body is not able to naturally synthesize vitamin D. Vitamin D deficiency result in bone problems, as calcium absorption reduces.

A dietary supplement of cholecalciferol  will do just fine to solve this problem, as it contains Vitamin D3.

Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin and an important element for the absorption of calcium in the body which is good for strong bones. How does your body's defense system work
alex41 [277]
Your immune system uses a huge army of defender cells - different types of white blood cell. You make about 1000 million of them every day in your bone marrow. Some of these cells, called macrophages, constantly patrol your body, destroying germs as soon as they enter. This is your 'natural' or inborn immunity. But if an infection begins to take hold, your body fights back with an even more powerful defence of T- and B-cells. They give you acquired immunity, so that the same germ can never make you as ill again.
