The fourth one should be the correct answer
RUDIKE [14]3 years ago
3 0

7, -3, -1, 2, 5

this is because if u use a numberline all the negative numbers will be on the left and all the positive numbers will be on the right. we also read from left to right but if we do this on the number line it will be greatest to least but we are not looking for that we reads the number right to left

A B and C are collinear, and B is between A and C. The ratio of AB to AC is 2:7. If A is at (0,-8) and B is (2,-4), what are the
labwork [276]

Answer:

  C = (7, 6)

Step-by-step explanation:

The problem statement tells us the relation between the points is ...

  (B-A)/(C-A) = 2/7

  7(B -A) = 2(C -A) . . . . . . multiply by 7(C-A)

  7B -7A +2A = 2C . . . . . add 2A

  C = (7B -5A)/2 . . . . . . . divide by 2

  C = (7(2, -4) -5(0, -8))/2 = (14, 12)/2 . . . . . fill in the values of A and B

  C = (7, 6)

F(x)=x^2. What is g(x)
xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer:

g(x) = \frac14x^2

Step-by-step explanation:

Since f(x) and g(x) share the same top at (0,0), their difference is only a scale factor, so g(x) = ax² but we need to find a.

To find it, we use the given point of g, (2,1)

So g(2) = 1

meaning that

a·2² = 1

4a = 1

a = 1/4

Is quadrilateral jklm the result of a dilation of quadrilateral abcd by a scale factor of 2? why or why not?
UNO [17]
If we say dilation, we mean to say that the endpoints or the corners of the polygon is move by the number of scale factors away from the original point. Unfortunately, you missed to give here an illustration of both quadrilaterals, it would have been easy for us to answer this item should we have been given with the dimensions.
