Michael Dell was born on February 23, 1965, in Houston, Texas. He began by selling kits to help customers upgrade their personal computers and later he launched the personal computer revolution with the creation of the Dell Computer Corporation. It was started as a computer company in his dorm room when he was a student at the University of Texas, and later sold directly to customers making PCs cheaper.
