= 5.3 + 6

= 11.3g

  • Mass of Water = 0.9g

  • Mass of Sodium ethanoate = 8.2g

The total mass of products is :

= 2.2 + 0.9 + 8.2

= 3.1 + 8.2

Hence the, Mass of Reactants = Mass of products

∴ The given reaction is in agreement with the law of conservation.
