Strong acids are those that ionizes almost completely in water. to be considered a strong acid, an acid must have an acid ioniza

tion constant ka > 55. the strong acid hcl in aqueous solution undergoes the ionization reaction: hcl(aq) + h2o(l) ⇋ h3o+(aq) + cl-(aq) and its ka = 2.00 x 106. if the concentrations of h3o+ and cl- are both found to be equal to 0.153 mol/l what is the remaining concentration hcl that is not ionized

Ka  is  the  equilibrium  constant  for  the  ionization for a reaction. It  is  calculated  as  follows
ka  is equal  to (H3o ions)(A-) divided by (HA)
  2.00x106i s  equal  to 0.153x0.153 divided by ( HA)
  (2.00x106)HA is  equal  to  0.023409
  HA concentration  is  therefore equal to 0.023409/2.00x106 which  is 1.104x10^-4moles/litre

Describe the motion of particles of a gas according to kinetic energy
IrinaK [193]
The motion is constant, rapid, and random. The particles move in a straight line until colliding with another particle or an object. This results from the collisions of atoms and molecules in air with objects

Determine how many subatomic particles are in the following days
ololo11 [35]

Answer:

Number of protons in Na²⁴ = 11

Number of neutrons in Na²⁴ = 13

Number of electrons in Na²⁴ = 11

Number of protons in I¹³¹ = 53

Number of neutrons in I¹³¹ = 78

Number of electrons in I¹³¹  = 53

Explanation:

Sodium is present in group one.

Atomic number of sodium is 11.

Its atomic mass is 23 amu.

Electronic configuration:

Na₁₁ = 1s² 2s² 2p⁶ 3s¹

Number of protons in Na²⁴ = 11

Number of neutrons in Na²⁴ = 13 (24-11= 13)

Number of electrons in Na²⁴ = 11

Iodine:

Iodine is halogen element.

Its atomic number is 53.

Its atomic mass is 127 amu.

Electronic configuration:

I₅₃= [Kr] 4d¹⁰ 5s² 5p⁵

Number of protons in I¹³¹ = 53

Number of neutrons in I¹³¹ = 78  (131-53= 78)

Number of electrons in I¹³¹  = 53

Given the balanced combustion reaction: 2C2H6 + 7O2 --> 4CO2 + 6H2O
Tatiana [17]

Answer:

2C2H6(g) + 7O2(g) ==> 4CO2(g) + 6H2O(g)

One way to find the limiting reactant is to divide the moles of reactant by the corresponding coefficient in the balanced equation and whichever is less is limiting.

For C2H6 we have 2 moles / 2 = 1

For O2 we have 8 moles / 7 = 1.14

Explanation:

If a reaction mixture contains 8 moles of O2(g) with 2 moles of C2H6(g),which reactant is the limiting reactqnt and what is the mass (in grams) remaining of the reactant in excess?
