It was formed on 12th February in 1909 by the members of the group Ida B. Wells, Mary Church Terrell. The Niagara movement was formed on 30th May 1909. The purpose of NAACP was to eliminate caste prejudice in the USA and to give them suffrage on impartial basis give them justice in the courts, give them employment opportunities and the quality before the law.
