Step-by-step explanation:

\angle \: 6 \: and \:  \angle \: 11 \:are \: corresponding \\ angles. \\ corresponding \: angles \: are \: congruent. \\  \\   \therefore \: \angle \: 6  =  \angle \: 11 \\  \\ \therefore \: (2x + 28) \degree = (6x - 24) \degree  \\  \\ \therefore \:2x - 6x =  - 24 - 28 \\  \\ \therefore \: - 4x =  - 52  \\  \\ \therefore \: x =   \frac{- 52 }{ - 4}  \\  \\  \huge \red{ \boxed{\therefore \: x =   13 }}  \\  \\

Thus,

The value of x is 13, because corresponding angles are congruent

-9x+7y=28 find the y intercept
natulia [17]

In slope-intercept form, we have these values (y = mx + b):

m = slope

b = y-intercept

Change the equation from standard form to slope-intercept form.

-9x + 7y = 28

-9x + 9x + 7y = 28 + 9x

7y = 28 + 9x

7y/7 = 28/7 + 9x/7

y = 4 + 9/7x

y = 9/7x + 4

Therefore, the y-intercept is 4.

Best of Luck!

will the opposite of a number always,sometimes,or never be greater than the number itself??????? can someone do an example and a
weeeeeb [17]

When the number is positive, its opposite is less than the number.

9 ==> -9 . . . . . . less
72 ==> -72 . . . . less
324 ==> -324 . . less

When the number is negative, its opposite is greater than the number.

-8 ==> 8 . . . . . . greater
-3/4 ==> 3/4 . . . greater
-429 ==> 429 . . greater .

We've seen that the opposite can be less, and it can also be greater.
I guess that means that it's sometimes greater.
