The answer physiological needs. First and foremost, we need the basics. The most important is our need to sustain ourselves. In order to do that we have to find an ideal environment where food and water is available as well as access to house-building materials and stuff we can make clothing from. For to happen, we need to find an environment that provides that.

Answer:

Earthworms are very sensitive towards the odor.

They use it for locating the food in the soil. Because earthworms are dependent upon microorganism in the soil, they must be sensible for the presence of any food around them if they do not respond the odor then they may die.

Earthworms have the escape response so they quickly respond the external stimuli at the part they are stimulated. With the increasing frequency of stimuli at the same part they slowly decrese the response towards it.

Answer:

On an inscription at the riverfront of the Rubicon River, was written, that soldiers, flags, or weapons are not allowed beyond the river

However, knowing that he would have suffered death if he went into Rome alone, and that by crossing the river, the legion and himself are sentenced to death (or could cause a coup) automatically, therefore, by leading about 5,000 men across the Rubicon, then he (and his legion) have cast the die, (their goal is not for Julius Caeser or them to be killed) and it will eventually rest with a side up, therefore, their cause of action has started (which is to go into Rome and preserve themselves) and even if they stop (stop the die) there is still an outcome (punishment/coup), and therefore, there is no going back
