\bf \cfrac{-4a^{-2}b^4}{8a^{-6}b^{-3}}

so, in short, without too much fuss, you simply move the variable from the bottom to the top, and the exponent sign must change, or the other way around, from the top to the bottom, and the exponent sign changes

so   \bf \cfrac{-4a^{-2}b^4}{8a^{-6}b^{-3}}\implies \cfrac{-4}{8}\cdot a^{-2}a^6b^4b^3\implies -\cfrac{1}{2}a^{-2+6}b^{4+3}\implies -\cfrac{1}{2}a^4b^7

Where does Pythagorean identity come from and how does it relate to right triangles
sergiy2304 [10]
The Pythagorean identity is based from the three trigonometric identities that apply to the Pythagorean theorem. The three identities are founded on the concept that the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the two sides of the right triangle. The identities can be determined through the substitution of sine and cosine in the right triangles measurements.

John currently has enough money to buy 45 books. If each book cost 10 cents less, John could buy 5 more books. How much money do
Andrews [41]
Set up an equation when x is the cost of a book. If we know that 45 + 5 = 50:
45x = 50(x - .1)
Now, multiply across the parentheses:
 45x = 50x - 5           (Now, combine terms over the equal sign)
-50x   -50x
 -5x = -5                     (Now, divide off the -5 from both sides)
/-5    /-5
x = 1
This means that the current cost of a book is <em><u>$1.</u></em> This works out if you test it.
Hope this helps!

Solve this step by step using the quadratic function <br> y=x^2 +x+2
Ne4ueva [31]

Answer:

x=<u>+</u>\frac{\sqrt{4y-7}-1 }{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Quadratic function =( -b<u>+</u>\sqrt{b^2+4ac}  )/2a

x^2+x+2-y=0

x=-1<u>+</u>\sqrt{1^2-4(2-y)} /2

x=-1<u>+</u>\sqrt{4y-7} /2

x=<u>+</u> \frac{\sqrt{4y-7}-1 }{2}

Pretty sure this is right. Would appreciate a brainliest
