Andrew Jackson was the 7th president of the United States (1829-1837). Jackson is also known for being the founder of the Democratic Party and for shutting down the Second National Bank in 1833.

Jackson opposed the National Bank because he believed that it was a corrupt unconstitutional monopoly with a lot of power and that benefited only to the wealthy class citizens and not all Americans. President Jackson started investigating the Second National Bank when he became president, and closed it against the Congress' decision, so he removed all federal funds back to the state banks in 1833, and the bank's official charter expired in 1836.

“Crime” is not a phenomenon that can be defined according to any objective set of criteria. Instead, what a particular state, legal regime, ruling class or collection of dominant social forces defines as “crime” in any specific society or historical period will reflect the political, economic and cultural interests of such forces. By extension, the interests of competing political, economic or cultural forces will be relegated to the status of “crime” and subject to repression, persecution and attempted subjugation. Those activities of an economic, cultural or martial nature that are categorized as “crime” by a particular system of power and subjugation will be those which advance the interests of the subjugated and undermine the interests of dominant forces. Conventional theories of criminology typically regard crime as the product of either “moral” failing on the part of persons labeled as “criminal,” genetic or biological predispositions towards criminality possessed by such persons, “social injustice” or“abuse” to which the criminal has previously been subjected, or some combination of these. (Agnew and Cullen, 2006) All of these theories for the most part regard the “criminal as deviant” perspective offered by established interests as inherently legitimate, though they may differ in their assessments concerning the matter of how such “deviants” should be handled. The principal weakness of such theories is their failure to differentiate the problem of anti-social or predatory individual behavior per se from the matter of “crime” as a political, legal, economic and cultural construct. All human groups, from organized religions to outlaw motorcycle clubs, typically maintain norms that disallow random or unprovoked aggression by individuals against other individuals within the group, and a system of penalties for violating group norms. Even states that have practiced genocide or aggressive war have simultaneously maintained legal prohibitions against “common” crimes. Clearly, this discredits the common view of the state’s apparatus of repression and control (so-called “criminal justice systems”) as having the protection of the lives, safety and property of innocents as its primary purpose.

Which of the following statements are accurate regarding congressional apportionment? Check all that apply. Representation in th
JulsSmile [24]

Answer:

 • On average, a member of the U.S. House currently represents 710,000 residents.
 • Shifts in population may result in a gain, loss, or maintenance in the number of representatives allocated to a particular state.

Explanation:

The United States Congress is the federal body responsible for the legislative power of the country, that is, it is through this organ that all laws in force in the country were established, debated, voted, edited and approved. The congress is divided into two legislative chambers the Senate and the House of Representatives. The Senate has more significant power within the Congress, although the House of Representatives has less power, it is this chamber that represents the residents of each American state. Currently (2019), on average, a US House member represents 710,000 residents. In addition, changes in population may result in gain, loss or maintenance in the number of representatives allocated in a specific state.

Sav [38]

Answer:

You could draw America in a cape pretending to be a hero since they wanted to help Cubans gain independence from Spain. Or maybe draw it like america is the big strong parent figure and cuba is trying to hide behind them while spain (the other parent figure) is trying to punish them. I havent learned a lot about the spanish-american war but i still hope this helps.

Grade 7 : Civics chapter : 3 - Understanding Media Write a short note on : The impact of Advertising The Right to Information Ac
hjlf

In a nutshell, the impact of the Right to Information Act of 2005, was very intense in the advertising sector, but very beneficial for the population that is submitted to it. This is because, the Right to Information Act allows situations where the advertising sector must be more transparent about the subjects it addresses. This is because the Right to Information Act allows any citizen to ask questions about certain advertising and certain relevant issues, which may or may not be controversial. In addition, this law guarantees that the citizen will be answered in a short period of time.

This is extremely important in the current environment in which we live, because it prevents confusion in the reasoning of citizens, in addition to reducing the possibility of spreading fake news, among other incorrect news.
