Describe why some people think guns and violence are “cool.”
steposvetlana [31]

I think a lot of it has to do with the stuff that is on the television and marketed to kids. Violence is glorified through action figures and gun violence on the TV and then sold. However, guns are pretty cool, tbh. People hunt and shoot clays for sport. Shooting targets can be pretty fun and challenging.

How will you apply what you have learned about communication to develop better communication for yourself with teachers, family,
mote1985 [20]
It is good to keep in mind that communication is a two-way process wherein the goal is to reach a common understanding. We should not overpower a conversation such that the other party cannot contribute anymore because that is no longer effective communication. Non-verbal communication is often more important than verbal communication, and it tells so much more. We should show or portray what we want rather than simply just saying it because words are nothing unless you give them meaning.

What is the importance of self-monitoring skills?
Fiesta28 [93]
In a self-diagnosis situation, self-monitoring can help you determine any symptoms or behaviors, so you can pass them on to a doctor. Many have no real idea of what their behaviors or triggers are. Self-monitoring can help you gather that information first before meeting with a professional.
