Chemistry

Answer:

No

Explanation:

Sodium ;

Atomic number = 11

Group = Group 1

Valence electrons ; 1

Charge = electropositive elements

Potassium ;

Atomic number ; 19

Group = Group 1

Valence electrons ; 1

Charge = electropositive elements

Reason why Sodium and Potassium can not form a bond ;

 1. They both belong to the same group in the periodic table (Group I).
 2. They both contain one electron in their outermost shell(they need to lose it)

So, a chemical reaction between both these elements is not going to establish octant sate for either of the element.

Design a concept map that shows the relationships among the following terms: volume , derived unit , mass , base unit , time , a
Svetlanka [38]

Base unit is the fundamental unit of measurement that is not mutually dependent. The seven base units are,

Length - meter

Mass- kilogram

Time - second

Temperature - Kelvin

Current - Ampere

Luminous intensity - Candela

Amount of matter - mole

Derived units are derived from the seven base units. Like the area (square meters) is the square of length (meters), volume is the cube of length.

After reviewing your answers to questions 2 and 4 above, would you define boiling point and melting point as a periodic table fa
8_murik_8 [283]
Neither, boiling and melting point per element varies from element to element on the periodic table. Family trends and period trends determine what kind of element each aspect is.
