What I do is to add up the hundreds and tens in my mind first:

130 + 90 + 160 = 380

and then add the small change:

7.50 + 2.50 + 2.50 = 12.50

and add it back to the first amount

392.50

All you have to do is add $137.50 + $92.50 + $162.50 = $392.50
