Answer:

1. Option A, grassland

2. Option B, vines, ferns, and sloths

Explanation:

1. As it is visible in the picture, the biome do not consists of any large grasses or wooden trees thus both option C, taiga and option B, temperate forests rule out as these two consists of wooden trees.

Also the option D tundra is not the correct answers as tundra regions are associated with barren lands with no form of agriculture or plantation and extreme cold climatic conditions.

Hence, the only applicable solution left is the option A, grass land

2. Here option A is incorrect as arctic hares and foxes are seen in colder regions such as tundra.

Option c, cedars, pine trees, and warblers are wooden trees , thus this option is also incorrect

Option D is also incorrect as most of the animal species on grassland are grazing animals like bisons or rodents and few carnivores.

Option B, can be a right choice of answer as all forms of small creeper plants that can grow in a grass land.

Describe the sequence of events that make up the alternation of generations in plants. Include an explanation of where mitosis a
topjm [15]

Answer:

The description is provided in the explanation section below

Explanation:

ALTERNATION OF GENERATIONS is a unique phenomenon whereby certain organisms switch between a diploid state and a haploid state in their reproductive life cycle. It is a feature of plants (higher and lower).

A plant is a diploid organism (2n) i.e. contains two set of chromosomes. This diploid state of the plant is called the SPOROPHYTE. The diploid sporophyte (2n) of a plant undergoes meiotic division (reduction division) to produce haploid spores. These haploid spores germinates and grows via mitosis (duplication division) to form the haploid GAMETOPHYTE.

The haploid gametophyte (n), via structures called GAMENTAGIA, produces haploid gametes. The male gametophyte produces male gametes (sperm) while the female gametophyte produces female gamete (egg). These haploid gametes eventually fuse in a process called FERTILIZATION to produce a diploid ZYGOTE (2n) i.e. sperm (n) + egg (n) = zygote (2n). The ZYGOTE undergoes series of mitotic divisions (growth) to form the diploid SPOROPHYTE (2n) of the plant. The cycle restarts again in that order, hence it is called ALTERNATION OF GENERATIONS.

N.B: Mitosis maintains the number of chromosomes of the parent cell while meiosis reduces the chromosomal number of the parent cell by half.

The six types of documentaries are:

 • Poetic Documentary
 • Expository Documentary
 • Observational Documentary
 • Participatory Documentary
 • Reflective Documentary
 • and Performative Documentary.

Poetic Documentary

I prefer the documentary considered poetic, it is one in which the aesthetics and narrative are more robust, more worked and expressive. He uses reality as raw material, however, he transforms it in different ways. In other words, all the elements included in the work are designed according to the message you want to convey. In this production

 • The voice over
 • Image treatment
 • Narratives
 • and Framing

are aligned to compose and work together with the video.

With this information, we can get to know the six types of documentaries, and we chose the poetic documentary as the preferred one.

Which career in marine biology appeals to you the most? Explain the aspects of the job that you find appealing.
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

The career in marine biology that appeals to me the most is aquatic science. Aquatic scientists use comparative studies, long term data, models, and theory to address a myriad of questions pertaining to water: water movement, water chemistry, aquatic organisms, aquatic ecosystems, movement of materials in and out of aquatic ecosystems, and the use of water by humans. This sounds very compelling to me.
