x is equal to 0.

since they are complementary set them equal to eachother

divide both sides by 3

x=0

Find the vertex of this function <br> f(x)= x^2+4x-12
sergij07 [2.7K]
F(x) = x² + 4x - 12

x = -b/2a
x = -(4)/2(1)
x = -4/2
x = 2

f(x) = x² + 4x - 12
f(2) = (2)² + 4(2) - 12
f(2) = 4 + 8 - 12
f(2) = 12 - 12
f(2) = 0

The vertex of the function is (2,0).
