Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Manuel does the prime factorization as:

                                         60

                                           ^

                                       4     15

                                       ^

                                     3  5

He placed the arrow under wrong number as he placed the arrow under 4 and 4 is not the prime number and can be factorized as 2, 2.

Also, the arrow should be placed under 15 as 3 and 5 are the factors of 15. Thus, the factor tree should in the form:

                                                    60

                                                      ^

                                                  4      15

                                                           ^

                                                          3   5

"Manuel" here put the arrow in the wrong place. Should be under 15, not 4. PLUS, 4 is not prime, cuz 2 goes into it...

There are three consecutive integers. The product of the first and the last is 35 more than 5 times the second number. Find thes
mamaluj [8]

Answer:

8,9,10

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x-1, x and x+1 be the consecutive integers

(x-1)(x+1) = 5x + 35

x² - 1 - 5x - 35 = 0

x² - 5x - 36 = 0

x² - 9x + 4x - 36= 0

x(x - 9) + 4(x - 9) = 0

(x - 9)(x + 4) = 0

x = 9, -4

o=28%

hdm=13%

39%+28%+13%+wtm=100%

wtm=100%-39%-28%-13%

wtm=100%-80%

It took an ice cream 28 minutes to drive through one neighborhood. The truck stopped driving through the neighborhood at 2:05 pm
VMariaS [17]

Answer:

Starting time: 1:37

Step-by-step explanation:

Instead of proof to solve the problem, let us prove that the starting time above is correct;

1. There are 60 minutes in an hour, so 60 - 37 = the minutes 'till 2:00, or 23 minutes

2. Knowing that the time the truck stopped driving through the neighborhood was 5 minutes past 2:00, the minute difference being 23 + 5, or 28 minutes

Proved: 28 minutes

A circle with area 100π has a sector with a central angle of 2/5π radians.
Snowcat [4.5K]

Answer:

  20π square units

Step-by-step explanation:

The sector area is found using the proportion ...

  sector area / circle area = sector angle / whole circle angle

Multiplying by "circle area", we get ...

  sector area = (circle area)( sector angle / whole circle angle)

  = (100π)(2/5π)/(2π)

  = (100π)(1/5)

  sector area = 20π
