First one
remember
a/b=c/d also can be written as
ad=bc

so
first one can be rewritten as
3x=96
divide both sides by 3
x=32

2nd ones we can just times both sides by 5 to get
x=50/12

3rd one we times 12 both sides to get
x=8

4th one we translate to
4x=63
divide by 4
x=63/4

5th one we translate to
99=5x
divide by 5
99/5=x

6th one we times 21 both sides
6=x

7th one we times both sides by 16
14=x

last one we translate to
45=3x
divide 3
15=x

Position vectors m and n have terminal points of (2, ) and (1, y), respectively.
OLEGan [10]
This problem involves the dot product.

You must provide all info for position vector m.  Your (2,) is inadequate.

Supposing that the terminal point of vector m were (2,3), then

m dot n would equal 8, or 8 = 2*2+3*y.  Then 8 = 4 + 3y, and 4 = 3y, and y =3/4.

Please type in the terminal point of vector m and then answer this question following the above example.

69. A statistics instructor believes that fewer than 20% of Evergreen Valley College (EVC) students attended the opening midnigh
Oduvanchick [21]

Answer:

a. at least 20%, when in fact, it is less than 20%.

Step-by-step explanation:

Type 1 Error is to reject null hypothesis when it is actually true.

Here the null hypothesis is fewer than 20% of Evergreen Valley College (EVC) students attended the show.

In mathematics fewer than 20% means less than  20%.

So the null hypothesis is that less than 20 % students attended the show.

We have to reject this hypothesis .

We can reject this hypothesis when we assume that the % is greater than or equal to 20 %

At least  20% means greater than or equal to 20%.

So the best choice is option a.

at least 20%, when in fact, it is less than 20%.

Nostrana [21]
If it is just babysitting and yard work, then the obvious answer is yard work. Of it has other answers, then it would be a camp counselor. Also, never say it's not an exam, it would make people suspicious.
