How do you solve the math equation y-y=m(x-x) for when you have to find the equation for an in and out table? i know how to get

the numbers and plug them in, but i dont know how to simplify it to get the actual equation for the in and out table.

What you do is you put the numbers into the equation subtract a number from both sides whatever you get from that you divide that with x

You first take any two points from the table and find the slope. Then you can take that slope and any point in the table and plug it into that point-slope form equation.

\sf y-y_1=m(x-x_1)

Where 'm' is the slope and \sf (x_1,y_1) is a point on the line(or in this case a point in the table).

You can then distribute the slope into the parenthesis and add/subtract y1 to both sides to get the slope-intercept form equation.

If the length of side a is 12 centimeters, measure of angle B = 36 degrees and measure of angle C = 75 degrees , what is the len
Fofino [41]
The length of side b is 7.61 m.

Here's how the length was calculated:

Let:

length of side a = 12 centimeters
B = 36 degrees
C = 75 degrees

In order to solve an AAS triangle, use the three angles, add to 180 degrees to find the other angle, then, use The Law of Sines to find each of the other two sides.

A = 180 - (36 + 75) = 69 degrees

by using the law of sines:

a / sin A = b / sin B = c/ sin C

we will substitute the given values:

12 / sin (69) = b / sin (36)

b = unknown

12 / 0.93 = b / 0.59

12.9 = b / 0.59

b = 12.9 * 0.59

b =7.61 cm (length of side b)
