You can work this out two ways:

1) you can find the percentage of students who have brown hair, and subtract from 100% to find the total percentage of other hair colors,

11 / 25 = 0.44 or 44% > 100% - 44% = 56% < this is the number of students without brown hair,

or

2) you can find out the number of students who have a different hair color, and finding the percentage of that new number:

25 - 11 = 14 < this is the number of students in the class that have a hair color other than brown. To find the percentage:

14 / 25 = 0.56 or 56%

Answer: 56% of students do NOT have brown hair.

Answer: 240 minutes, 20 cups, 4000 pounds

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

Use the following conversions:

1 hour = 60 minutes

2 cups = 1 pint

2 pints = 1 quart

1 ton = 2000 pounds

4\ hours\times \dfrac{60\ minutes}{1\ hour}=\large\boxed{240\ minutes}\\\\\\\\5\ quarts \times \dfrac{2\ pints}{1\ quart}\times \dfrac{2\ cups}{1\ pint}=\large\boxed{20\ cups}\\\\\\\\2\ tons\times \dfrac{2000\ pounds}{1\ ton}=\large\boxed{4000\ pounds}

Choose the scatter plot that shows a negative correlation.
Alenkinab [10]

Negative correlation between two variables means when x is increasing but y is decreasing or vice versa.

First graph of suffered animals and children shows a positive slope which means if age of child increasing then numbers of suffered animal is also increasing. So, the first graph show a positive correclation.

Second graph of survey of adults doesn't represnt any distinct relationship as the data scattered randomly everywhere in the graph. So, it's showsa very week correlation.

Third graph of speed and MPG shows a negative slope as speed is increasing then MPG is decreasing. So, the third graph (speed and MPG) shows a negative correlation.
