(X-2)(X-1)

To do this, first you want to notice that there is no number in front of the x^2.
This will not work on its own if there is

Find 2 numbers that multiply to 2 and add to -3
-3 is in front of the x and 2 is alone in the equation so those are the numbers you are using

-2 and -1 are the only whole numbers that do that
-2 + -1 = -3
-2 * -1 = 2

If H= 2f over m+1, solve the equation for f
Viefleur [7K]
H = 2f / (m+1)
[multiply by (m+1)]
h(m+1) = 2f
[divide by 2]
f = (h (m + 1)) / 2

3b / (b+2) = 12 / (b+2)
[multiply by (b+2)]
3b = 12
[divide by 3]
b = 4

3 / (6x + 1) / 2 = 8 / (x + 4) / 3
[multiply both denominators to mike one denominator]
3 / 8(6x+1) = 8 / 3(x+4)
[expand brackets]
3 / (48x + 8) = 8 / (3x + 12)
[multiply by (48x + 8)]
3 = 8(48x + 8) / (3x+12)
[multiply by (3x+12)]
3(3x +12) = 4(48x + 8)
[simplify]
9x + 36 = 192x + 32
173x = 4
x = 4 / 173

Nick is making bread dough.
LiRa [457]

Answer:

He would need \frac{3}{2}=1\frac{1}{2} cups of salt.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given that,

The recipe requires \frac{3}{4} cups of flour and 1\frac{1}{8}=\frac{9}{8} teaspoons of salr.

As Nick wants to make the recipe using 1 cup.

Let the amount of salt needed = x

The ratio of the flour and salt will be same.

So, we have,

\frac{\frac{3}{4}}{\frac{9}{8}}=\frac{1}{x}

i.e. \frac{3\times 8}{4\time 9}=\frac{1}{x}

i.e. \frac{2}{3}=\frac{1}{x}

i.e. x=\frac{3}{2}=1\frac{1}{2}

Thus, he would need \frac{3}{2}=1\frac{1}{2} cups of salt if 1 cup of flour is used.

Which of the options is a solution for the following system of inequalities
oksian1 [2.3K]

Answer:

(5, - 2)

Step-by-step explanation:

2x+y>3

x-y>1

2x + y > 3 - - - - (1)

x - y > 1 - - - (2)

Using trial and error method :

Using :

(5,-2)

2x + y > 3

2(5) + (-2) > 3

10 - 2 > 3

8 > 3 (true)

x - y > 1

5 - (-2) >1

5 + 2 > 1

7 > 1 (True)

For 0,5

2x + y > 3

2(0) + (5) > 3

0 + 5 > 3

5 > 3 (true)

x - y > 1

0 - (5) >1

-5 > 1

--5 > 1 (false)

Also, all other options do not hold true for bitb inequality statements, hence answer is (5, - 2)

The value of z₁ / z₂ = (4 - j) / (2 + 5j) in euler form given as 0.766e^{54.2j

<h3>What is an equation?</h3>

An equation is an expression that shows the relationship between two or more variables and numbers.

z₁ / z₂ = (4 - j) / (2 + 5j)

= [ (4 - j) / (2 + 5j)] * [ (2 - 5j) / (2 - 5j)] = 0.448 + 0.62j = 0.766∠54.2°

The value of z₁ / z₂ = (4 - j) / (2 + 5j) in euler form given as 0.766e^{54.2j
