"Definition of direct variation. 1 : mathematical relationship between two variables that can be expressed by an equation in which one variable is equal to a constant times the other."

The answer is D

All of the other relationships are consistent.

A is x × 3

B is x × 4

C is x × 2

D is x × 2 then 3 then 4.

D is not a direct variation.
