The Ksp refers to the equilibrium constant for a solid dissolving in an aqueous solution.
Ksp=  5.61×10⁻¹¹

The equation for this reaction is:
Mg(OH)₂ (s) ⇔ Mg²⁺ (aq) + 2 OH⁻ (aq)

And the associated equilibrium expression is:
Ksp = [Mg2+]  x  [OH–]²
Mg(OH)₂ its solid and because of that doesn't have molarity, so its not included.

Ksp             = [Mg²⁺]   x   [OH–]²
5.61x10⁻¹¹  = (x) (0.200)²
x = 1,4025 x 10⁻⁹

tigry1 [53]

Answer:

No energy is gained or lost when molecules collide. The molecules in a gas take up a negligible (able to be ignored) amount of space in relation to the container they occupy. The molecules are in constant, linear motion.

Revise and repeat: Is more water always better? Create your own experiments to find the ideal amount of water for each kind of p
sergij07 [2.7K]
More water is not always better. For example; cacti only need water about every two weeks, the same with succulent plants. Not every plant needs to be watered every day, or the plant may be overwatered and die.

An arctic weather balloon is filled with 4.96 L of helium gas inside a prep shed. The temperature inside the shed is 6. °C. The
Virty [35]

The new volume of the balloon : V₂ = 4.89 L

Further explanation

Given

V₁ = 4.96 L

T₁ = 6 + 273 = 279 K

T₂ = 2 + 273 = 275 K

Required

The new volume

Solution

Charles's Law

When the gas pressure is kept constant, the gas volume is proportional to the temperature

\tt \dfrac{V_1}{T_1}=\dfrac{V_2}{T_2}

Input the value :

V₂=V₁.T₂/T₁

V₂ = 4.96 x 275 / 279

V₂ = 4.89 L
