The correct answer would be, Hegemony.

Today, a television father might be one who stays at home with the children while his wife heads out the door to work. Viewers who watch these representations accept these different ideas of father. Hegemony explains this acceptance.

What environmental forces drive organization development in your field or industry? What are the steps successful organizations
cricket20 [7]

Answer:

In management of organizations, managers and leaders of companies must always be aware of the factors, events, circumstances, elements, etc., that will affect the correct functioning of their organizations. There are two types of environments, as we would call these factors, that affect a company´s function, the internal environment and the external environment. While the first regards to the elements inside a company, and which are under the company´s control, the others are external elements that affect a business, but cannot be controlled. The play of these factors are the drivers for change and adaptation of organizations.

In my field, which is healthcare, there are a lot of driving environmental factors, and right now they are of both types; on the one side, we are facing severe shortcuts in funding for hospitals, and also lack of proper funding, of any type, for improving the quality of care for patients. We are also facing legal situations that are making care much more difficult and riskier, and hospitals have had to adapt by aloting a part of their budget to give to insurance companies and lawyers to meet this change. Like these two, we could mention a lot of environmental factors that are at the moment affecting the healthcare field.

Successful organizations observe the different factors that are affecting corporation responses, productivity and balance in order to adjust the goals, establish the measures necessary to meet the ends, and work with the different people within and without the organization to meet the ends. In my work environment, as mentioned before, there have been a lot of these changes, and that is why today so many do not wish to pursue healthcare careers.

The changes that have been made in many hospitals and healthcare settings have not necessarily affected the environment positively and since these decisions have been driven more by economic interest, than by an interest in the workforce, they have led to further crisis in the industry.
