Describe how the population movements from the Northeast to the Sunbelt, and from inner cities to the suburbs, altered major fea
Liono4ka [1.6K]

The movement from the Northeast to the Sunbelt occurred after the extensive use of air conditioning made the hot weather of the South more bearable for a larger number of people. Many people moved to the Sunbelt in order to enjoy better weather and recreational opportunities.

On the other hand, the movement from inner cities to the suburbs occurred when the economy of the United States improved and new families wanted their own homes that were suitable for nuclear families. The suburbs also benefitted from a better road system and the availability of cars.

I believe that the latter movement was the most significant one, as it left a deep mark on the lifestyle of the United States. It led to the development of extremely large supermarkets. It also made owning a vehicle vital. Finally, this change also led to the rise of a "commuter culture" and to the disappearance of housing in the center of major cities.

Kami wanted to help her audience understand how harmful texting and driving can be, so she opened her speech with a very emotion
mina [271]

Answer:

Yes, she was following the ethical guidelines.

Explanation:

Ethical guidelines during public speaking primarily involve objectivity, integrity, and righteousness in the subject matter and conduct. The speech needs to be well prepared, the objective must be ethical and display loyalty towards the audience.

Kami seems to be following these guidelines as her objective is fair i.e. 'to make the readers understand about the harms of chatting while driving.' To convince the readers more effectively, she uses an emotional anecdote of a high school student who was killed in a car accident as he was traveling with a person who was texting while driving. This emotional article makes her idea more powerful and convincing which helps in justifying her purpose and persuading the audience to not use phone while driving especially texting.
