we know that

The measure of the external angle is the semidifference of the arcs that it covers

so

∠MLN=(1/2)*(mayor arc MN-minor arc MN)

Let

x------> minor arc MN

major arc MN=360-x

substitute in the formula above

∠MLN=(1/2)*(mayor arc MN-minor arc MN)

75.86=(1/2)*(360-x-x)------> 151.72=(360-2x)------>360-151.72=2x

x=104.14°

therefore

the answer is

the measure of arc MN (minor arc) is 104.14°

Successive discounts of 20% and 12% are equivalent to a single discount of:
nydimaria [60]
Exp.

100 $;
<span> discount of 20% => 80$;
</span> discount of <span>12%</span>% => 80 - 80*(12/100) = 71.4 $;

100 - (x/100)*100 = 71.4 => x = 29.6 => a single discount of 29.6%;

Determine two pairs of polar coordinates for the point (5, -5) with 0° ≤ θ &lt; 360°.
zubka84 [21]

Answer:

you first find the radius which is given by r=√(5^2)+(-5^2)=5√2,and then you find the angle which is given by tan^-1(y÷x),that is tan^-1(-5÷5)=-45°.This angle lies between (5,-5)

so 360-45=315°.

The ordered pair will be (5√2,315°)

To obtain the second ordered pair 315°-180°=135°

(5√2,135°)

the two pairs of polar coordinates are (5√2,135°,

5√2,315°)
