Basically, choosing one red marble out of everything is 3 / 10 because there are 3 chances of picking the red marble and 10 marbles overall. Picking one blue marble would be 6 / 10, or 3 / 5. You would multiply these two probabilities together because they are independent of each other:

(3 / 10)*(3 / 5) = 9 / 50

The probability is 9 / 50.

I’ve never really understood range
Oduvanchick [21]

Answer:

( -∞, 3]

Step-by-step explanation:

Range is all possible y values that the graph covers.

So in this graph the legs extend all the way to y value  -∞ (never mind the x value). However, the top is at y=3 and the graph is not extending above that. Hence the range is from  -∞ to and including 3.

dmitriy555 [2]
7 out of 10 would vote for Tammy so what value (x) would vote for her out of 230. Set up a proportion comparing the two.

x= # of people who vote Tammy

7 out of 10= x out of 230
7/10= x/230
cross multiply

(7*230)= (10*x)
1610= 10x
divide both sides by 10

161= x

ANSWER: 161 people in 7th grade would vote for Tammy.

Hope this helps! :)
